Carl Kelsall

I am a highly experienced Youth and Community Worker, with over 35 years practice in both local government and the voluntary community sector. My work has involved successfully applying for grant funding of over £2.5 million, and managing successful projects that meet the objectives of funders and bring about tangible and measurable outcomes for children, young people, their families and communities.  My passion is to work in a transformational way thanks to an Asset based community development approach ABCD or what I call a grow our own approach. I have also had vast experience working with disadvantaged young. This is what I have dedicated my life to doing. For the last 15 years I have developed substantial expertise in working around community and regeneration. I am driven by my core values and a fundamental belief in social justice through the empowerment of individuals, groups, and communities. More recently 2014 to the present day I have been managing a project empowering women with a focus on the mast difficult to reach. I am also a governor at Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School since 2015
